What You Will Do:

  • Perform technical tasks under the direction of an engineer or manager.

  • Prepare detailed estimates of quantities and costs of materials and labor required.

  • Interact regularly with customers and co-workers.

  • Maintain records for company and customer.

  • Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements.

  • Read and follow written and/or verbal directions and use a computer to communicate, create, and access information.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • This safety-sensitive role may be subject to employer or customer drug testing

  • One year experience with the following:

    • Performing mechanical assembly work

    • Operating a manual lathe/mill

    • Welding (mig and stick)

    • Single and 3 phase electrical work

  • Ability to interpret machine drawings and electrical schematics

  • Working knowledge of hand & power tools, overhead crane

  • Speak, read, and write English fluently.

  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability work overtime and Saturdays as required

Working Conditions:

  • Activities occur indoors and outdoors.

  • Extreme heat: Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity.

  • Hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current or exposure to chemicals.

  • Atmospheric conditions: One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.

  • Oils: potential air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.
