FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Responsible for managing the full EMS supply chain, including procurement, inventory, and timely distribution of medical supplies. Works closely with EMS staff to implement supply strategies that support operational readiness. Requires strong logistics experience, procurement knowledge, and solid problem- solving skills.

*This position performs duties deemed to be “safety-sensitive” and is therefore subjected to random drug testing under the City’s policies*

Essential Job Functions

  • Oversee the full EMS supply chain, including procurement, inventory, and distribution.
  • Forecast supply needs and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance.
  • Track and maintain EMS equipment and assets in Operative IQ, including preventive maintenance.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and ensure supply room readiness across stations.
  • Recover EMS equipment from hospitals and coordinate repairs with vendors.
  • Monitor market trends and recommend supply updates or changes.
  • Manage oxygen bottle logistics and coordinate with suppliers.
  • Ensure reserve ambulances are clean, stocked, and ready.
  • Work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience

Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent, supplemented by two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Requires possession of a valid Class D Oklahoma Driver’s License.

Physical Requirements

Tasks involve the ability to exert exceptionally strong physical e?ort in very heavy work, typically involving some combination of balancing, climbing, crawling, crouching, feeling, ?ngering, handling, hearing, kneeling, mental acuity, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, standing, talking, visual acuity, walking and which involves some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (up to 50 pounds).
