General Purpose
Maintains City streets, drainage infrastructure, street signs, and right-of-ways.Examples of Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Fills potholes, make repairs to city streets.
Repairs, straightens, replace city street signs.
Trim trees blocking street signs and/or hanging into street right-of-ways.
Mow, maintain right-of-ways.
Weed eat street signs, fire hydrants, street light poles.
Plow, sand streets, as needed.
Maintains drainage infrastructure.
Assists other crews as needed.
Peripheral Duties
Responds to emergency, after hour, call outs as needed.
May be required to be on stand-by.
Serves as a member of various committees, as needed.
Other duties as assigned.Typical Qualifications

Desired Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:- High school education or GED equivalent.
- construction and repair.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and abilities:- Some knowledge of Public Works aspects, streets maintenance, storm sewer infrastructure maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of operating equipment stated below.
Special Requirements
Must possess a valid Oklahoma Driver’s license prior to employment. May be required to obtain a Class B CDL and air brake endorsement. Supplemental Information
Tools and Equipment Used
Half-ton trucks, one-ton trucks, dump trucks, back hoe, skid loader, tractor, snow plow attachments, sander attachments, brush hog mower attachments, mowers, weed eaters, chain saws, pole saws, hand saws, pumps, sewer jetter, compressor, portable generators, common hand and power tools, two-way radio, telephone, and personal computer.
