Manages and directs the Cage, Vault, Count and Kiosk Departments on a given shift. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the MNGE policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manages designated shift of Cash Operations staff to ensure all work is carried out to the required standards and adherence to all gaming laws (Federal and Tribal) as well as internal controls, policies and procedures.

  2. Ensures all staff is scheduled appropriately to meet the operational requirements of the department.

  3. Implements and monitors Cage procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations and adherence to all laws and regulations.

  4. Responsible for managing high volume cash and non-cash transactions for our guests and internal customers in a courteous, accurate, and timely manner.

  5. Ensures correct procedures are followed for each cage bank, identifies and locate variances within the banks, Poker cage and the front line during shift and communicates any variances accordingly.

  6. Responsible for multiple transaction recording and SAR activity.

  7. Concisely communicates problems, ideas and concerns to management on a timely basis.

  8. Team Member is responsible for answering guest questions about River Spirit property, as well as OPG questions regarding job specific functions.

  9. Monitors cash and coin flow and communicates the needs to the Cage/Vault Manager, Cash Operations Manager or Operations Controller.

  10. Monitors Cash Operations supplies. Requesting supplies when necessary.

  11. Demonstrates a strong attention to detail and utilizes sound judgment in work situations requiring individual decisions.

  12. Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance preferred.

EXPERIENCE Minimum:

3 years of cash handling and cash counting experience required.

2+ years of cage/vault gaming experience required.

2-4 years of management and/or staff supervision experience required.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

Key positions require knowledge and application of Title 31 reporting requirements.

Must have the ability to pass comprehensive background check, drug test, and obtain gaming license as required.
