Summary

This position is responsible for equipment sales of engineered systems and contract compression projects. The equipment is typically sold through domestic EPC, E&P and Midstream companies that have very specific specifications for hydrocarbon processing, gas compression and gas processing projects. Equipment packaged by Enerflex includes but not limited to Reciprocating Compression, Oil-Flooded Screws for Refrigeration Systems, Molecular Sieve Dehydration Systems, Amine Systems, TEG Dehydration Systems, Dew Point Control and Cryogenic Plants. This role requires a high degree of influencing and collaboration across both internal and external customers.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

  • Identify and develop potential customers from initial contact through project execution.
  • Develop sales prospects lists by researching business activity through existing and potential customer contacts and industry forums.
  • Advise Engineered Products, Water, Power, ECC and AMS groups om customer activities and potential project opportunities
  • Manage a broad base of customer accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and act as a liaison between the customer and technical staff
  • Partner with Applications Engineering to perform estimates, budgets, and job scopes in proposal form and provide essential information as required to the customer
  • Identify customer technical requirements and work with applications engineering and project management to ensure customer requirements are appropriately defined and addressed
  • Assist in developing marketing materials which address the companies service resources and capabilities
  • Attend events including trade shows, conferences, exhibits and demonstrations to promote products and services and learn about industry and project developments
  • Participate in educational activities for customers such as lectures, training, and demonstrations. Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers
  • Work well with internal customers including Engineering, PM, Supply Chain and Execution.
  • Participate in sales and departmental meetings and training
  • Manage customer relationships for further development and retention
  • Manage customer account balance and collect past due payments from time to time

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years or more of proven success in business within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Entrepreneurial with high energy and drive for success
  • High accountability by nature, proven overall dependability, reliability and responsibility
  • Seeks understanding and possesses excellent listening skills
  • Strong contract and commercial negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of API, GPA, ASME, ANSI and other codes
  • Familiar with gas processing, compression and turnkey products
  • High focus on ethical behavior
  • Willing to continuously and proactively collaborate, share, and seek and guidance through open dialogue
  • Communication skills including interpreting and communicating specifications and information. Experience dealing with business executives is a plus
  • Time management skills including multi-tasking competing priorities as needed
  • Ability to generate alternative solutions
  • Ability to proactively manage multiple accounts and active business deals
  • Ability to effectively manage and support internal administrative responsibilities as it relates to the lifecycle of a project.

Physical Requirements

  • Fast-paced general office environment. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity.
  • Domestic and International travel is required
  • Frequently required to work non-business hours including evenings and weekends
