Job Description:
The Department of Communication and Media Studies at Northeastern State University invites applications for a part-time adjunct instructor position in Communication Studies. This is a part-time temporary position, with annual renewal based on the successful applicant’s job performance and current funding. The position pays $800 per credit hour (typically $2,400 per course).
Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will teach Fundamentals of Oral Communication (COMM 1113) as needed by the department. The successful candidate will teach primarily face to face on the Broken Arrow campus. The applicant may teach courses in a variety of teaching modes (i.e., online, blended, face-to-face).
Experience:
Previous university-level teaching experience preferred.
Education Requirements:
A Master’s degree in Communication Studies, or a Master's degree in any subject with at least 18 hours of graduate coursework in Communication Studies.
