About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Med Surge Monitor Tech/UC Nursing Assistant to join our team at Wagoner Community Hospital (WCH). In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and recording vital signs, assisting with patient care, and providing support to the nursing staff. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Additional certifications in related fields
  • Current certification as a Monitor Tech

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation
  • Assist with patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Provide support to the nursing staff, including answering call lights and assisting with patient transfers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols
