About the Role:
The Emergency Room Technician plays a crucial role in providing immediate care and support to patients in a fast-paced emergency department. The technician will be involved in monitoring patients' vital signs, preparing and maintaining medical equipment, and assisting with various medical procedures. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an emergency room or critical care setting.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assist medical staff in the assessment and treatment of patients in the emergency room.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies for use in emergency procedures.
- Assist with the transportation of patients to and from the emergency room and other departments.
