About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room at Wagoner Community Hospital, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, immediate care to patients experiencing acute medical conditions. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, triage, and treat patients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that each individual receives timely and appropriate medical attention. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatments as necessary. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an emergency room or critical care setting.
  • Certification in Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions upon arrival in the emergency room.
  • Triage patients based on the severity of their conditions and prioritize care accordingly.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare staff to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding health issues and treatment options.
