About the Role:

Directs the day to day activities of the department of diagnostic Radiology services in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and standards governing our facility, and as may be directed by the medical director of the service and the clinical director.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare management or a supervisory role within a healthcare setting.
  • Current A.R.R.T. Registration
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a hospital or community health setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare information technology.
  • BLS (Basic Life Skills)
  • Demonstrated success in project management and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise daily operations of assigned departments to ensure smooth and efficient healthcare service delivery.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures that comply with healthcare laws and accreditation standards.
  • Manage staffing, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling to maintain optimal workforce levels.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and patient care enhancements.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and allocate resources effectively to meet organizational goals.
  • Ensure patient safety and quality standards are consistently met through regular audits and staff education.
  • Serve as a point of contact for resolving operational issues, patient concerns, and interdepartmental coordination.
  • Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of long-term goals for the hospital.
