FACILITIES MAINTENANCE AND JANITORIAL STAFF

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Under direction of the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor and the Board of Commissioners, responsible for building operations and services including general maintenance of courthouse facilities and grounds.

Perform maintenance including replacement of lighting and air filters.

Respond to alarm calls including those after hours.

Maintenance of Courthouse grounds including mowing, trimming, etc.

Ensure all public areas including hallways, restroom facilities, county offices and courtrooms are clean, sanitary, free from obstruction and have adequate supplies.

Responsible for adherence to all county safety regulations and participation in the county safety training program.

REQUIREMENTS

Perform general physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, stooping, balancing and handling materials.

Ability to operate machinery including hand tools and lawn maintenance equipment.

Read and understand direction on chemical supplies and proper use of personal protection equipment.

High School Diploma required.

Valid Driver’s License Required.
