Wagoner County Economic Development is seeking a motivated and community-focused Project Manager to support economic development initiatives throughout Wagoner County. This position combines project coordination, administrative support, facility oversight, marketing assistance, and website content management to help advance countywide economic growth and community engagement. Position Summary The Project Manager will provide day-to-day support for economic development operations, assist with special projects, oversee the management and scheduling of the county co-working space, maintain digital communications, and support marketing and outreach activities. This position offers opportunities for professional development, networking, and career growth within economic and community development. Key Responsibilities Administrative & Project Support • Provide light administrative support for Wagoner County Economic Development operations • Assist with coordination and implementation of economic development projects and initiatives • Support meetings, event planning, and stakeholder communications • Maintain organized records, calendars, and project files • Assist with preparation of reports, presentations, and public information materials Co-Working Space Oversight • Oversee daily operations of the county co-working and community meeting space • Coordinate reservations, scheduling, and facility use • Ensure the space remains clean, welcoming, and functional for users and visitors • Assist with promoting memberships, events, and public usage opportunities • Serve as a point of contact for tenants, guests, and organizations utilizing the space Marketing & Communications • Assist with marketing and promotional activities as assigned • Create and manage content for social media, newsletters, and promotional materials • Help promote economic development initiatives, community events, and business resources • Coordinate photography, branding, and community outreach efforts when needed Website Management • Maintain and update content for the One Wagoner County website • Ensure website information remains current, accurate, and professionally presented • Post news releases, event information, business resources, and community updates • Coordinate with vendors or consultants as needed for website improvements Qualifications • Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines • Professional and customer-service-oriented attitude • Experience with Microsoft Office, website content management, and social media platforms preferred • Marketing, communications, project management, or administrative experience preferred • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with community partners, businesses, and public officials Benefits • Competitive benefits package included • Professional development and training opportunities provided • Opportunity to work on impactful community and economic development initiatives • Collaborative and community-focused work environment Work Environment This position will primarily operate in an office and community setting with occasional attendance at meetings, events, and public functions throughout Wagoner County.
