JOB TITLE: Crating/ Shipping Lead
JOB SUMMARY: S upports daily crating and shipping operations while coordinating logistics, inventory, and shipment tracking. This role requires strong Excel skills and hands-on shop experience, with the ability to lead work activities while actively assisting in the shop as needed.

Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily shipping and crating jobs
- Pull parts and materials for shipments
- Track inventory and shipments using Excel and internal systems
- Process shipping paperwork and documentation
- Build crates and assist with hands-on shop work as needed
- Operate power tools and material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, crane)
- Support and guide team members to meet shipping deadlines
Qualifications:
- Experience with Excel and basic shipping/logistics coordination
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in both office and shop environments
- Crating, shipping, inventory, or warehouse experience
- Previous lead or coordination experience
- Familiarity with power tools and industrial settings

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to go up and down stairs.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Must have physical stamina to stand, stoop, bend, squat and kneel eight (8) or more hours per day.
- Must be able to frequently lift 50lbs or more.
- Must possess sufficient visual acuity, depth perception, and color vision to accomplish job tasks.
- Must be able to tolerate shop environment and exposures associated with welding and industrial equipment manufacturing, and apply appropriate safety equipment as required.
- Must not present a risk of injury to self or others while engaged in company duties.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
