JOB TITLE: Crating/ Shipping Lead
JOB SUMMARY: S upports daily crating and shipping operations while coordinating logistics, inventory, and shipment tracking. This role requires strong Excel skills and hands-on shop experience, with the ability to lead work activities while actively assisting in the shop as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily shipping and crating jobs
  • Pull parts and materials for shipments
  • Track inventory and shipments using Excel and internal systems
  • Process shipping paperwork and documentation
  • Build crates and assist with hands-on shop work as needed
  • Operate power tools and material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, crane)
  • Support and guide team members to meet shipping deadlines

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Excel and basic shipping/logistics coordination
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in both office and shop environments
  • What will put you ahead:
  • Crating, shipping, inventory, or warehouse experience
  • Previous lead or coordination experience
  • Familiarity with power tools and industrial settings

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to go up and down stairs.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.
  • Must have physical stamina to stand, stoop, bend, squat and kneel eight (8) or more hours per day.
  • Must be able to frequently lift 50lbs or more.
  • Must possess sufficient visual acuity, depth perception, and color vision to accomplish job tasks.
  • Must be able to tolerate shop environment and exposures associated with welding and industrial equipment manufacturing, and apply appropriate safety equipment as required.
  • Must not present a risk of injury to self or others while engaged in company duties.
  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
